It's been a while

Hey guys. I know it has been a while since I've blogged but I've been busy. I started a job and love it. My schedule is pretty flexible which ensures I have time to exercise. Last weekend I went to my friend's baby shower. Before the baby shower I was doing exceptionally well. I've been doing 1 hour of cardio every night. The weekend of the baby shower (sat-sun) wasn't so easy. Saturday morning I went for a short walk but didn't have time for a full out work out. Sunday I was a slacker and didn't work out at all. The good thing is that I didn't go off my calorie intake. I did eat some cheese and a bite of a piece of cake, but it stayed under my calorie limit.

Now that I'm back home, my schedule is back on track. I'm back to my usual diet and exercise regime. this week my exercise is feeling easier. I have made plans to go mountain walking/hiking this saturday with one of my dear friends to change my workout routine some. I'm really looking forward to it! The weight isn't coming off as quickly as I had originally hoped but at least it's coming off. Last week (the first week of my diet/exercise) I lost 4 lbs. I am very excited to see what my weight loss will be this Sunday. Stay tuned

6/1/10

Last night I was so busy I never got around to pilates. By the time I got home from work, I only had enough time to cook all my lunch and dinner meals for the week. When that was done, it was time to shower and sleep. After realizing how little time is available in the evenings, I realized that cooking will have to only be done on the weekends or else I will lose my valuable sleep time.

So, today I will do my tuesday workout which will consist of 1 hour cardio and 30 minutes weight training. Since I started my new job today, I also decided that I will blogging in the afternoons instead of at night like the last couple of blogs.

I do feel really great after eating well and working out the last couple of days. I'm not as sluggish during the day and I am more willing to clean haha. I am really looking forward to a great workout tonight! My eating has been under control. Last night I went easy and cooked an organic frozen dinner since I was cooking so much food for the rest of my week. It was a really great meal, eggplant parmesean and only had 420 calories. I was actually full when I was done eating it and the taste was surprisingly good. For time cruches I will definitely eat that meal again. Today consisted of a really healthy breakfast shake, protein, spinach, strawberries, soymilk and a banana all blended into a healthy goodness. Yummy! lunch was 1.5 burritoes with black beans, kidney beans, onions, peppers, spinach, tomatoes and salsa. I brought 2 but couldn't eat it all.

Well until tomorrow, stay healthy.
